The map is not the territory, but a better map helps.

A way of locating yourself — not by personality type, but by how you actually move through the world when something is at stake.

Most assessments tell you what kind of person you are. This one maps where you stand — on two axes that cut across every domain of human life: how much you trust what you're told, and how much you believe things can change. The result is a personal orientation map. Not a label. Not a score. A position — and a way of understanding why you see things the way you do, and what that costs you. It takes about 15 minutes. There are no right answers. The instrument is designed to surface the gap between what you believe and how you actually respond — which is usually more interesting than either one alone.

At the end, you'll see a personal orientation map — your position plotted in a two-axis space shared by everyone who has taken the instrument. You'll also receive a profile text written for where you land, and the option to have your map delivered to your email.

If you work with others as a therapist, coach, or facilitator, the instrument is useful in both directions — as something you offer clients before a session, and as a framework for your own thinking about the people you work with. A practitioner guide is in development.
